About

maschi

I discovered the love of cooking as a student in Paris while I rented a room with an elegant Jewish Turkish lady.
Often we prepared dinner together in the evening.
At that time, I began to record my mother's excellent cuisine, cooking Jewish food and Viennese recipes in Paris. It has always been an exchange of cultures, flavors and tastes.
I lived in France, Canada and Belgium and after more than 30 years returned to my hometown of Vienna. In all these years I have been cooking my family and friends and preserving the tradition of Jewish kosher cuisine.
Now I would like to share it with you.

By the way, my favorite dessert is a good malabi, a cold dessert ( kind of oriental Pannacotta) based on almond milk and rosewater. .
I serve this quite often!
